I bought COMPUTE's Gazette Issue 31, Vol. 4, No. 1 from a seller on eBay.
I did this so that I could type in the Automatic Proofreader from 1986 followed by the MLX from 1986 followed by the Fast Assembler.
I apparently enjoy doing this. I have a C64U, which is the only Commodore I have ever owned. (hooboy do I wish they would do a 128!)
The Fast Assembler apparently enjoyed a bit more popularity than I originally understood.
Doing this brought up some other questions for me...
Are there Proofreader and MLX programs for other systems that could be included in COMPUTE's now that it has a wider platform focus?
Could the Fast Assembler be re-introduced using the latest MLX?
There was apparently an update to it someone wrote for scrolling which was never published in the original COMPUTE's; could that be published now?
I would be interested in Proofreader and MLX for Commander X16 as well.
I love this magazine.
Thanks.
